Our process.

Paddock to plate.

Once an animal reaches over 400kg, it is considered ready to enter the meat chain, and it is only the most ‘finished’ animals on the day that are chosen. This decision is made after careful consideration of individual weight gains & inspection of body structure & composition to ensure we are sending the best animal possible.

We transport all our own cattle to an accredited processing facility. Humanely slaughtered, the carcass is then hung prior to butchering. Sunset Grazing beef is then butchered, packaged & labelled at a licenced butcher shop. All meat is cryovac packed allowing it to be kept fresher for longer, plus it’s more convenient and ready to go straight into your fridge or freezer.

Delivering farm fresh.

Collecting all the packaged beef in our Foodsafe Accredited coldroom truck we then deliver directly to you, ensuring that our product is ‘farm fresh’ and that your meat is genuinely ‘paddock to plate’.

Whether you buy our beef from the Toowoomba Farmers Market every second Saturday or beef is delivered direct to your home through our home delivery service (Toowoomba and Brisbane), you are receiving 100% grassfed beef direct from the farmer. 

It is important to us to deliver quality products that every customer can enjoy – from the home chef to the fussiest of children. We want our customers to have an enjoyable eating experience when they choose our beef.
